Our herb garden

In our large garden on the bank of the Ruhr River you can find our very own herb garden. In charge of more than fifty herbs and berries is Granny Gisela; here experience and green fingers really pay off. Every spring anew she succeeds in growing the basis for our creative cuisine. It doesn’t get more natural than that! Local partners assure quality and are good for the environment

When choosing suppliers, we find it very important to use high-quality products from small manufacturers or farmers from the Sauerland region or from Arnsberg.

We get our game and chanterelles from the Arnsberg Forest, goat from farmer Schütte in Oberkirchen, char from the Hellefeld Stream Valley, Galloway beef from Arnsberg, ham and cheese from Meschede, bread from Arnsberg and Stockum, eggs from Bruchhausen and herbs directly out of our garden. Outside the kitchen we also work together with regional partners. With special moments and celebrations there can sometimes be a few extra things to organise. Hereby you can rely not only on us, but also on all our tested partners.
